Join us for a talk in which artist Harold Offeh will discuss the ideas around his installation 'The Lounge'. Harold will shed light on how his artistic practice informed his research, designs and resultant curatorial choices in the development of the show.
Harold Offeh works in a range of media including performance, video, photography, learning and social arts practice. Through his practice, the artist explores the space created by the inhabiting or embodying of histories, often employing humour as a means to confront the viewer with historical narratives and contemporary culture.
Offeh has exhibited widely across the UK including Tate Britain, Tate Modern, South London Gallery, Kettle’s Yard and internationally including Studio Museum Harlem, New York, MAC VAL, France and Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Denmark.
