Madinah Farhannah Thompson is the 2020 Ingram Prize Winner whose work examines the misrepresentation of Black female bodies within Western societies. Her work is currently exhibited in the second floor gallery, where elemental imagery is paired with family photos to explore sense of place and belonging. Thompson's work has been shown and performed at venues such as The Mall Galleries, The Royal Academy and The Southbank Centre, with her film Saliva & Tears/Underneath You.
